Hi... I'm sending this message to find out which of you have mail
setups that can handle European characters.

The following symbols should be as described:

  ä  <- a with " over it
  å  <- a with o over it
  ø  <- o with / through it
  ö  <- o with " over it
  ü  <- u with " over it
  £  <- pound sign

Please tell me if these work OK for you, or (especially) if they
don't.  They should, on any correctly-configured machine, so you could
always talk to your systems administrator first...
