Aidan has just turned 13 months old! It's been a quieter couple of weeks, and Aidan has used the time to learn lots of exciting new things.

He started pointing to objects he was interested in on July 24th. On Thursday, July 29th Mummy looked around to discover a small boy walking towards her! He walked 6 steps alone at that point, lots of 4-5 step walks, and then topped it with 11 steps. Daddy was very disappointed to be at work that day :-( .

Aidan treated us to his first public tantrum in the middle of John Lewis on August 5th. It only lasted about 30 seconds, but we're sure he'll get better as time goes on! He's worked out how to climb up and down from his pram now, and is trying to climb up on anything within reach too. He's also discovered how to turn the television on and off.

Mummy's hours of work have changed now, and Aidan is being looked after by his new childminder, Paula, on a Monday morning, and all day Tuesday. Daddy now looks after him on Wednesdays, and Mummy is at home on Thursdays and Fridays. He also had his hair cut for the second time on Friday 6th August.

Asleep in Milton Country Park. Daddy took me to the park one day, but I was very tired, so I slept and he worked on his equations.

In my new paddling pool. Auntie Elaine and Uncle Chris gave me this wonderful paddling pool and sandpit for my first birthday. I think it's great!

Running away to sea. It was a hot day, but my hat was far too uncomfortable. Daddy's handkerchief was much lighter, and a lot more styley too, I think!

My new booster chair. This is much more portable than my high chair. I used it for the very first time when we visited Sophie and Nick (Mummy and Daddy's friends) and we had a barbeque in the garden!
