Aidan is now seventeen weeks old and has had an exciting couple of weeks. Firstly, Grandma came down to visit for a couple of days. Aidan kept practising rolling from back to front, and during Grandma's visit even demonstrated that he could roll from front to back too!

Aidan also went on his second plane journey when we flew to Scotland for Auntie Elaine and Uncle Chris's wedding. Aidan wore his very first kilt and was much admired by everyone.

On the downside Aidan is also teething (nothing has made it through to the surface yet but there is certainly plenty of activity underneath) and sometimes it's very painful. He gets very rosy cheeks, pulls on his ears, dribbles and gnaws on anything that he can get his hands on.

Grandma was so excited that I could roll over that she came all the way down from Scotland to watch me! Just to show off I showed her that I could also roll back again too.

I'm teething :-( . No teeth have actually broken through the surface yet, but I can sometimes feel them moving about and it hurts. I also spend a lot of my time dribbling and gnawing on Mummy or Daddy's fingers (or anything else that happens to be available).

Me doing the Highland Fling! (large version). I wore my kilt to Auntie Elaine and Uncle Chris's wedding. I looked very smart and was admired by everyone :-) . I loved the feeling of freedom (and Daddy found changing my nappy much easier) and got to practice my Highland Fling. NB: video is a ZIPped AVI file. Me and my Daddy. Daddy wore a kilt to the wedding too. Daddy gave me my dinner during the reception - I even had my own special menu for the meal ("Mummy's very best milk" was the main feature!).
