Aidan is now nineteen weeks old. It's been a bit of a rush recently - we flew back from the wedding and realised it was less than two weeks until we flew to New Zealand!
Aidan is working very hard at learning to crawl -- he can both push up on his arms and get his knees up, but just not at the same time. It probably won't be long now. He has recently had a bit of a cold, and with this and the imminent flight we decided to delay his third set of vaccinations until after we return.
He has proven to be an excellent flyer -- he was even complimented on his behaviour by our neighbours on the trip to Los Angeles. We stayed with Keith's friend Buz, and there he proved that he could happily roll both ways (back to front and front to back) if he wanted to, he charmed shop assistants and waitresses, and slept through a whole opera despite Buz's impressive home theatre system.

0635 Cambridge Railway Station. The start of my Big Adventure!! Mummy and Daddy had to get up very early to be sure not to miss this train. See my diary entry Part I for the rest of the exciting journey to Heathrow. |

Asleep (finally) in the Virgin Atlantic basinette. I didn't find it very comfortable. |
