I'm now 20 months old, and I've had a very busy month, with my usual routine of playgroups, music and gym classes. It's been lots of fun.

I've been getting very good at making things and drawing pictures, and made Mummy a lovely card for Valentine's Day, and two beautiful cards for Mother's Day! I love to draw (especially on the walls or the coffee table), and enjoy gluing and painting too. Mummy and I also baked some yummy cookies recently.

One of the best things that happened this month was that the doctor told me that my eardrum was all better, and wasn't perforated anymore. That meant I could go swimming again for the first time in several months. I was a bit scared just at first, but am rapidly regaining my confidence.

Grandma and Grandpa came down to visit for a few days this month and I had lots of fun playing with them. I got to show them all my new tricks - pointing at pictures and saying what they were of, telling them all my new words, and climbing across the rope bridge at Tumbletots. Grandpa took me for a walk in a snow shower, and I pointed at the slowly-falling flakes and said "bubbles" because that's what they looked like! I really enjoyed being out in the snow.

One of my most favourite games recently has been climbing up onto the coffee table (over Mummy and Daddy's protests), counting to three (yes, I really can count to three!) and then jumping off into Mummy or Daddy's arms. I also discovered that I like jumping in puddles.

Fun playing with Daddy. I've been having a lot of fun playing with Daddy this month - he really seems to have worked out how to play with me. He even made me a tent from two chairs and a blanket, and we had fun sitting in it and playing peek-a-boo! For some reason this wears him out after a while...

Winning the prize! My childminder's son Jack was four this month, and he invited me to his piratical birthday party. I kept winning bags of chocolate buttons in the party games, although Mummy wouldn't let me eat them all in one go.

Grandpa and Grandma came to visit and play with me. I took them to Planet Zoom, to TumbleTots, and even out to lunch by the river. We had lots of fun.

My toy shower. I got this for Christmas, and recently I've discovered that squirting myself is tickly and makes me giggle!

Sliding downstairs on the slide Daddy made for me one afternoon - isn't he clever? It was too cold to go outside, but this kept me happy for ages!

Surveying my domain after a 35mm snowfall. After weeks of pretending to snow it finally did, and all of my play equipment went all white and fluffy and cold. Very strange! (Even more strangely, it all washed away after three hours, so I didn't get to go out and make snowmen :-(.)

Happy Mothers' Day Mummy! Following a great family tradition, I made Mummy "Log Cabin Cinnamon Toast" for breakfast - it was yummy! (so she told me, but I secretly confess I tried some too...). You can also see the two Mothers' Day cards I made.
