Aidan is now twenty weeks old. This week we were in Auckland, New Zealand. We spent most of the week getting over the flight and adjusting to the time difference and the wonderful sunshine.
Developmentally, the highlights of the week were Aidan choosing to sleep on his tummy for the first time, and his developing vocalisation. On the London/LA flight Aidan had 'screamed' a lot, not because he was unhappy but because it was fun to hear his own voice, and this week he developed that further. By the end of the week he was well into making "ba ba ba" and "aiyaiyaiyai" noises.

| On Saturday we went for a walk in the Waitakere Ranges, to try out Aidan's new MacPac 'Possum' back carrier in advance of our mountain climb the following week.
