Aidan is now three years and eight months old! It's been a month of lots of fun activities, which have been punctuated by several more ear infections which eventually led us to the decision to request a private referral to an ENT consultant (set for March 19th).
Aidan enjoyed his normal activities of playgroup, Tumbletots, Pre-5's and Sunday School. On one occasion we joined Diane, Joshua and Andrew at Lunch Bunch, which is a cafe run by the church beside Playgroup. Aidan, Joshua and Andrew had a wonderful time, eating toasties and some of the wonderful homemade cakes! And, in typical Aidan fashion, Aidan managed to charm an older lady (who had foolishly sat at the same table as us!) sufficiently that she shared her cake with him!
Aidan's been really enjoying playing with playdough recently, and it vies with whatever construction kits playgroup has out for his attention. He and Uncle Jonathan had lots of fun making sock puppets recently too. Aidan also still loves his electronics kit, and has now graduated to flashing lights, and sirens with motion sensors!
We had a fun trip to Cadwinkle (soft play), and a lovely trip to Edinburgh to visit Claire, Madi, Juju and Ellie. Aidan once again enjoyed running around and playing in the back garden with Madi and Juju. We had another visit to Stacey and Becca in Brechin this month too, which Aidan enjoyed. We also popped through to Glasgow one Saturday, and Aidan helped Daddy take his camera to the shop to be fixed (or not as was actually the case!).
As the weather has been beginning to improve, we've been to several of the local parks - Aidan will now walk (with some complaining!) for some distance, and we've had some lovely walks at Parkhill and Callendar Park with friends. He and Megan have also had a lot of fun playing in the back garden, getting very mucky!
We've had some friends over for meals - Jill and Andrew, and Euan and Judith. Aidan spent a lot of time explaining to Euan how his flashing lights worked, including what the capacitors and diodes were. If he wasn't sure of part of it, he would turn and ask Daddy, and then repeat Daddy's answer to Euan, which was very funny!
Our camera was out of action for most of this month, hence the lack of photos. We're pleased to say that it's fixed now, thanks to the good people at photography-on-the-net.
