Aidan’s Gallery: five years three months old
Aidan is now five years and three months old! He started school towards the end of August, and seems to be loving it. He's learning to read, using the Jolly Phonics and Oxford Reading Tree programmes, and he's learning to write. They are also being taught French, and have gym classes where they have had the opportunity to try a variety of sports. He seems to be making friends, and is very happy at school.
Aidan is going to Mini-bairns, a football programme, which is not his most favourite activity, but it's good for co-ordination and his ball skills are coming along well, so we'll keep him in this class until Christmas. He's continuing his swimming lessons, and is becoming more confident as the weeks go by. He's also started Anchor Boys, which he really enjoys.
He loves to draw, and while we were at Greenbelt, he created a story-board of the Apollo 13 story - it was very well done!
