Aidan is loving his increased mobility and using it to great effect as he explores the house. He's usually pretty careful, although occasionally he forgets and he gets wee bumps and bruises. This doesn't stop him at all!

His two top front teeth are fully through now and he's finding it much easier to eat finger foods - he will quite happily munch his way through a whole (small) banana, a piece of cheese or a biscuit.

He has discovered that his hands make a really nice noise if he claps them together!

He loves bathtime, and we usually let him play until he's tired. He seems to think it's mainly a foot bath, and spends most of his time investigating the edges, the taps and the walls. He does slip occasionally, but usually doesn't mind and managed either to rebalance himself, or (if he does end up in the water) pull himself up and continue to play. He likes having water poured over him, or squirted at him from one of his toys.

Off-road tricycle practice. Now that the weather is warming up, we've been playing out in the garden much more - but Aidan doesn't like the feel of grass just yet (Daddy is worried he's turning into a city boy, Mummy reckons it's just that it's new and he's wary of new things! Time will tell!).

Playing with wires. Aidan loves to play with wires, although we're not so sure this is a good idea! We are having some success in teaching him not to touch them... but they are so tempting! (Aidan's bedroom used to be our office, but now we have to have the laptop and separate monitor downstairs as a mobile office - hence the wires.)

Nine month birthday dinner - celebrating my three-quarters birthday with Mummy and Daddy.

Climbing the stairs. Aidan is getting pretty adept at stair-climbing now - we're always there to catch him, but he seldom needs it these days. He hasn't shown much interest in learning how to go down yet.
