Megan is now eleven months old! The most exicting event of this fortnight is that she and her brother were christened on Sunday 27th August. This was a wonderful occasion, with many family and friends travelling considerable distances (thank you to everyone who was able to be there - it was fantastic to see you all there!). Megan looked beautiful in her dress and, apart from amusing everyone by removing the minister's hand from her head while he was blessing her, behaved beautifully too. The party afterwards was lovely and Megan had a great time being the centre of attention.

The following weekend was a very exciting one for Megan - she got to spend the entire weekend with Grandma, Grandpa, Gungle and Aidan, while Mummy and Daddy went on Daddy's company outing to Rome for the weekend. Megan had her first visit to Blair Drummond Safari Park - she enjoyed seeing all the animals, but was clearly not quite as impressed as her brother was!

The rest of the fortnight was a fairly quiet time, spent recovering from all the excitement of the weekends, and going to our usual activities - music classes, Gymbabes, Pre-5's, Fellowship group coffee, and meeting friends.

My Christening cake. The cake had a "snuggly" for me (my favourite toy is my snuggly), and a train for Aidan.

The cakes. I had two Christening cakes - the one on the left is the top tier of Mummy and Daddy's wedding cake(!), trimmed and re-iced; the one on the right is a new sponge. Both were very yummy.
