Megan is two years and four months old! As usual, we've had a busy few weeks, including regular trips with friends to some of our favourite local parks - Zetland Park, Polmont Park (otherwise known as Polmont Park) and Muiravonside normally, but also the play area in our estate gets frequent visits, particularly as we walk past it several times a day on our way to and from school.

As the weather has been rather wet at times, several of these trips have resulted in the kids going straight into the bath and their clothes going straight into the washing machine as soon as they walk through the door. Muiravonside tends to get very muddy, and Zetland has a huge sandpit... but the kids love it, and the washing machine can take the strain!

We've been swimming a few times, and met up with friends to play, been out for a lovely family walk along the canal, been to a birthday party, a couple of trips to soft plays, visited a friend's toddler group and been out bike riding too. We also had a lovely visit from Steve and Varya, with Benjamin and Toby, this month and Aidan and Megan enjoyed taking them to Parkhill to play.

Megan has started going to Musical Steps this month. She used to go to Musical Steps (the Baby Band) when she was younger but we had to stop because of a clash of class times and Aidan's playgroup times. Megan's now old enough for the Toddler Troupe, and the class times work out for us, so she started back at the beginning to term, and she loves it! She's got a good sense of rhythm and loves the singing, playing instrumets and dancing. Aidan comes along to the class too, and he behaves beautifully - sitting quietly at the side and playing with his GeoMag.

Megan and Mummy had a fun day trip to visit Stacey, Becca and Sarah up in Brechin - Megan is really starting to play with her friends more now, and it was lovely to watch her and Becca playing together. Megan and Abbie (who we see regularly during the week) are also starting to play together too.
