Megan is now three and a half months old. We've had quite a social couple of weeks, spending time with friends old and new. We've also explored the area around our new home and discovered several new parks - something that Megan will appreciate as she gets a bit bigger!

We had a very exciting day on Saturday 14th January when we had two different sets of friends visiting consecutively - Megan loved all the attention and cuddles and meeting all the new people, but she was exhausted by the end of it and spent most of Sunday sleeping!

Megan had her three month vaccinations this fornight too, something she really didn't enjoy. She was rather poorly and unlike herself for several days afterwards. She also went for an ultrasound scan of her hips, a routine appointment scheduled because she was breech. The good news is that her hips are completely normal - we haven't been too concerned, but it was good to have this confirmed.

Megan successfully rolled from front to back on January 12th - we don't know who was more surprised, Megan or us! She hasn't done it again since though, so we think it was just a fluke. The same evening was obviously one for practising moving, as she also managed to rotate herself by 180 degrees (on her back) by kicking herself round in the bath. She had her first ride on Daddy's shoulders on Wednesday - she seemed a bit surprised by the experience but was quite happy to be there.

Megan has become very vocal now, and starts to shout whenever she's tired. In fact, the more tired she is, the louder she shouts! She loves to laugh and giggle, especially if Mummy plays silly games with her, and she loves to listen to music.

In my new Bumbo. Mummy and Daddy recently bought me a Bumbo - it's great! I can sit upright in it and watch everything that's going on, even though I can't sit up on my own yet!

Asleep in my car seat.

Sore skin. I've got a touch of cradle cap, and some mild eczema on my head. It seems to be on the mend now though.
