Megan is now three months old and her Mummy and Daddy can't believe how quickly she is growing up! After all the busyness and socialising of the previous two weeks, Megan has enjoyed a relatively quiet week, getting back into her normal daily routine, with visits to family and friends, going to toddler group, and learning lots of new things.

Megan has been working very hard at becoming mobile recently. She has been rolling onto her side, and her neck muscles have been getting much stronger too. On Saturday, 8th January, she became officially mobile and proved that she could rotate herself by 180 degrees on the bed, by a combination of arching her back and rolling, and flinging her legs round and wriggling. Quite a feat to watch, and she was very proud of herself (and so were Mummy and Daddy!). We didn't manage to get photographs of this, but we did when her big brother achieved the same thing.

On her three month birthday, Megan went swimming for the very first time to the Mariner Centre in Falkirk. Despite the fact the pool was a little cooler than we would have liked, she took to it really well. She was happy to lie on her front or back, while supported under her head. She demonstrated that she's very good at kicking. She even managed to duck herself under and coped very well with it. Once we find a warmer pool, we'll be taking her again!

Megan enjoys playing in her playgym - she likes to try and kick or hit or grip the hanging objects. She also likes investigating her rattle and her links, enjoying the different textures and how they feel in her hands and her mouth. She is fascinated by her board picture books, and also loves sitting in on Aidan's bedtime stories.
