Merry Christmas, everyone! The kids have been having a fantastic time making cards, stringing lights and decorations, and yesterday we even had snow! We hope you're all having a great time too.
Megan's three years eight months and extra page are up, with photos of our trip visiting friends and seeing the sights around the North Island of New Zealand back in May/June. We're getting there! Also a few new photos of friends and family. Enjoy!

Megan's enjoying nursery, and we've enjoyed a trip to Montrose and some late summer sunshine.

After a long but uneventful flight we made it back to Scotland in time for a week of beautiful weather! That was a month ago - now we're back into the thick of things, and Megan has started nursery!

6 July 2009: Megan has been having a great time in New Zealand over the last six months. She's now nearly 3¾, and she's loved seeing the sights, meeting family, and making new friends.

9 August: Megan is now an accomplished hillwalker. Her speech has come on dramatically, and she's been enjoying bunny-spotting!

8 June: Woohoo! Megan's pages are now fully up-to-date! We're getting ready to go on holiday to Aviemore, and Megan's running around in her new hiking sandals.

6 June: Megan has recovered from the virus now but, as a result of the assault to her immune system and her generally itchy skin (eczema), the lingering molluscum contagiosum on her arm spread quite dramatically. We took her to the doctor yesterday morning, who succesfully arranged for her to see a dermatologist today She has now received treatment for the molluscum, and we're really hoping this will rapidly bring it under control.

28 May: Megan hasn't been very well over the last few days, having been suffering from a nasty stomach bug. We're hoping she's on the road to recovery now.

21 May: Megan is going through a very arty phase at the moment and has brought back more pieces of artwork from playgroup in the last month than Aidan did in the entire eighteen months he was at playgroup! We're trying to get these pages up-to-date as quickly as possible, so this week we've managed to complete two new gallery pages for you - two years two month page and her two years three month page.
13 May: Megan has started playgroup, and is enjoying her independence! We've uploaded her two years one month page. We've also updated her friends and family pages.
21 April: Megan starts playgroup tomorrow! We think she'll love it. We've uploaded her two years old page.
14 April: Megan is now 2½. She is talking in sentences, counting, doing well with toilet training, and very independent!
We've put up her 1 year 11 months page, and a new feature: her hats page! Megan loves her hats. Also we've finally put up Carolyn's pregnancy page, the rest of Megan's tooth chart, and Megan's 1st and 2nd birthday galleries of month-by-month photos.
Plus the usual friends and family, and Megan's lists of places, firsts, progress, and stats.
27 August: Oops, it's been a while. But it's a bumper update this time. Megan is now 22 months old, and she's doing really well with her speech. She's had lots of fun over the summer, and she's still very cute.
Updates to: friends and family pages; new gallery pages for 1 year 6 months, 1y7m, 1y8m, 1y9m, and 1 year 10 months; also updates to Megan's lists of places, firsts, progress, and stats. Whew!

5 April: Megan is now nearly 1½. She's working hard on talking and dressing herself, and continues to be a very keen walker and climber. We're having to move everything further and further out of reach as she gets more confident!
The excitement of the moment is our upcoming trip to New Zealand. Megan has never been there, and it will be great for her to meet her New Zealand family and friends.

23 February: Megan is now sixteen months old, and she still has her non-stop contagious smile. She's walking - and climbing - everywhere!

4 December: Megan is now nearly 14 months old, and she's no longer a baby - she's a toddler!

8 November: Megan is now nearly 13 months old. She's been busy learning to walk on her own, and is working on her talking too - she loves to wave and say "hello" and "bye". More teeth have arrived too - she now has four molars.

17 October: Megan is now one year old!! Happy 1st Birthday Megan!
Megan has had a very busy few weeks, ending with celebrating her first birthday last week. She's becoming very mobile, and is really enjoying all her weekly activities, including Gymbabes and SoundStart (her music class).
Her eleven and a half months gallery page has been updated. You will have to wait just a little longer for her first birthday photos - we have quite a lot of photos to sort this this fortnight (I wonder why?!) so please watch this space... We've also updated her stats, firsts, family, and progress pages.
14 September: Megan is now eleven months old! Megan was christened on 27th August - thanks to all who came to help celebrate! She's started Gymbabes, and has become quite a climber. She's also developed a taste for icecream...

11 July: Happy ¾ birthday Megan! Megan is now crawling all around the house and feeling very pleased with herself. She's starting to cruise along the furniture, and she's enjoying playing with Aidan, especially now they share a room.
Three new gallery pages are up: seven and a half, eight, and eight and a half months old. We also have the usual updates to family, friends, statistics, firsts, and progress.
At last, two versions of Megan's rather eventful birth story are available in the scrapbook: Carolyn's and Keith's.

13 May: Megan is now seven months old. She's eating solid food now, and enjoying it very much - she insists on feeding herself. She loves standing up, and she loves sleeping on her tummy or on her side.

22 April: Megan is now six months old! It seems a long time since her dramatic entry into the world, and she's changed so much since then. At the moment she's very happy sitting, and loves to stand up (supported a little) and survey the world from a new angle. She's also beginning to "talk", trying to join in our conversations.

6 April: Megan is now nearly six months old! She can now roll over, sit up, bear some weight on her legs, and listen to stories (when she's not chewing on the book with her two teeth, that is!). She likes swimming, and playing in her play-gym and door bouncer, and she's getting on quite well with her brother. She's outgrown her Moses basket, and now sleeps in a cot in Mummy and Daddy's room.

13 February: Megan is now four months old! She's had another busy month of seeing friends, learning to move around, and routine medical appointments. She's getting vocal now, and tends to shout when it's bedtime! She's very smiley and lots of fun to play with and cuddle.

16 January: Megan is now fourteen weeks old! She's had an eventful month: her first Christmas, meeting lots of friends, two sets of immunisations, encountering snow, and visiting Edinburgh and Loch Lomond. She's worked out how to grip things, how to suck her thumb, and is well on the way to moving around. She's also grown.

16 December: Megan is now nine and a half weeks old. She's been growing, and is now too tall for her baby bath! She's experimenting with toys, making sounds, and her hands. We have lots of fun playing with her, and she smiles even more than last week. She likes to be sung to and talked to, and having her feet wiggled.

24 November: Megan is now six and a half weeks old. Her "milk spots" have cleared up, and she smiles a lot at Mummy and Daddy. She tries to suck her fists, and she's quite good at holding her head up. She is a very good sleeper, for which we are thankful! She's a very cute girl and we love her very much.

3 November: Megan is now three and a half weeks old. She's been busy - going out, having fun with her brother, enjoying baths and bouncy chairs, and generally looking cute.

23 October: Megan is now thirteen days old. She's still sleeping lots, but in between she's much more alert and interested in the world around her. She's a very cute, very contented baby girl and we love her very much.

15 October: Megan is now five days old. She's the cutest baby girl ever, not that we're biased. She's taking a relaxed approach to the world, dividing her time between sleeping (mostly) and gazing fascinatedly at the people around her.

13 October: Megan and Carolyn got back home on Monday afternoon, less than twelve hours after she was born.
10 October: Megan was born at 0449, Monday 10th October, 2005, at Stirling Royal Infirmary. She weighed 8lb11.5oz at birth (3.95kg). Mother and baby are both fine. Labour was mostly at home, but we transferred to the hospital after discovering Megan was breech. She had a normal breech delivery. Mother and baby hope to be out of hospital on Monday afternoon. Megan is pronounced "Meg-an".
